Write to do.it.swifty@gmail.com. It is read by the person who makes Resum. Telling us the language of the voice note and roughly how long it was makes almost every problem faster to find — never send the audio itself, and we will never ask for it.

How do I use it?

In WhatsApp, Telegram, or Files, hold the voice note, choose Share, and pick Resum. Several notes at once become one conversation, in the order they were sent. Resum has no recorder of its own: it works on voice notes other people sent you.

The first voice note in a language is slow

The first time you use a language, iOS downloads it, which takes a few minutes on a normal connection. It happens once per language, for the whole phone. Start it from Languages inside Resum, not from the share sheet — the system gives a share sheet too little time to finish a download.

The transcript is in the wrong language

Resum guesses the language from the first seconds of audio. When it guesses wrong, or marks its guess "unsure", tap the language and pick another. Only languages already downloaded can be chosen.

There is no summary

Three reasons, and Resum says which one applies. The note was too short to be worth summarising. Or the free allowance — five summaries a week — is spent. Or the language is one Apple Intelligence does not summarise, Russian included; those notes are still transcribed in full.

Where is my audio?

Still in the app it came from. Resum keeps the text, never the recording, and computes everything on the iPhone itself. See the privacy policy.

Subscriptions

Resum Pro removes the limit on summaries; transcripts are free either way. It renews until you cancel, and cancelling is in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it. See the terms of use.
